Outcomes Identification: The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time. Planning: The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternative to attain expected outcomes by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time. Implementation: The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, implements the identified plan by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time. Evaluation: The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs. Experience with nursing fundamentals in lab and/or clinical setting as evidenced by completed nursing fundamentals skill check-off.
