You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. What you will do Works collaboratively with the patient care team. Performs direct patient care under the direction, delegation and supervision of a registered nurse. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to supervising RN. Maintains positive professional relationship with patient/ families, coworkers, and health care team. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patients Qualifications and requirements Applicants should be enrolled in the nursing program at their selected university/college BLS required OR obtained within 2 weeks of start.
